Our Mission & Core Values
Blast & Cast Men’s Ministries is an inter-denominational Christian outreach ministry that utilizes the common bonds of hunting and fishing to reach outdoorsmen. As we commonly say, we are pointing outdoorsmen to the cross.
Our number one focus is reaching men who are normally found in a fishing boat or a hunting blind on Sunday mornings. To accomplish this goal, we create opportunities for Christian outdoorsmen to utilize their God-given spiritual gifts and passion for the outdoors to effectively share the truth of Jesus with their peers. Affordable weekend events are a big part of Blast & Cast, but we also maintain a presence in local communities through one-day events, tournament outreach, church partnerships, and more.
In order to remain adaptable and sensitive to the needs of local communities, each of our chapters is led by a team of local volunteers. Our centralized administrative staff then serves to support the grassroots efforts of volunteers across the nation while helping equip them to share the truth of Jesus in a down-to-earth, relatable manner.
Our short-term (1-3 year) goals:
- Develop and host outreach-oriented weekend events throughout Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arkansas, and Florida.
- Develop strategic partnerships and build relationships in other states. This includes local churches, businesses, and families that want to help share the Gospel in their local outdoor community.
- Develop and distribute curriculum to help volunteers and partner churches more effectively engage their community and share the Gospel.
- Expand our outreach into the bass fishing culture.
- Extend outreach events to include outdoor pursuits like archery, sporting clays, upland game, and more.
- Become a known and trusted brand within competitive fishing circuits so that every tournament angler knows who they can turn to when they need help.
Our long-term goals
- Provide every outdoorsman with the opportunity to attend a Blast & Cast Men’s Ministries sponsored event.
- Establish a ministry presence in all 50 states.
- Establish a ministry presence anywhere that outdoorsmen naturally gather.
- Introduce foreign mission opportunities for our volunteers and church partners.
- Publish evangelism training curriculum that helps American Christians rethink and reshape their understanding of evangelism.
- Help the American church discover new ways to reach outside their walls and make a practical impact on their local communities by capitalizing on shared interests and common hobbies.

An authentic relationship with Jesus results in people whose actions reflect their beliefs. We believe that an all-knowing, all-powerful God has lovingly called us into His redemptive purpose for humanity. As a result, our actions should reflect the compassion, purity, transparency, and ingenuity of our Creator. We desire to honor the Lord not only in what we do but also in how we do it. This mindset is the natural overflow of an authentic faith in Jesus Christ, and it will always represent our top priority.

God is intensely relational in nature, and we were created to exist in relationship with Him and each other. Our model is designed to create purposeful, long-term relationships within the outdoor community because we believe that the Gospel is best modeled and understood within the context of a relationship. As a result of God’s desire for us to live in caring and compassionate relationships with Him and the people He created, we will always prioritize people and relationships over tasks and accomplishments.

Our actions are a direct reflection of our beliefs, so we seek to accomplish tasks with excellence. Planning and preparation create the margin necessary to follow God with freedom and flexibility. Additionally, professionalism and attention to detail pave the way to effective and distraction-free opportunities to share the Gospel. God calls us to surrender our lives and serve Him wholeheartedly, so we will always strive to serve Him and the people He loves with excellence.
