Purpose:
To share God’s Word and Love with everyone attending and participating in the event and to present the core values and heart of Blast & Cast Men’s Ministries and build a presence in the Leesburg/Lake County region.

Age Limitations/Restrictions: All participants under the age of 18 must attend with a parent or guardian. Minimum youth age: 12. Limit 1 youth participant per parent/guardian.

Activities:
Everyone is invited to join us for a half-day of fishing on the fresh waters of Lake Harris, Leesburg, Florida. We will meet at Venetian Gardens Boat Ramp (South Side) on the morning of April 4, 2026. Before heading out all participants will be a part of a short prayer and thought in the morning then head out for a half day of fishing. After our time on the water, we will gather for lunch provided by Oak Wood Smoke House and Grill, and a short devotional.
We have generous volunteers providing the boats, so all you will need to bring is your own fishing pole and gear. Tips will not be allowed, but help with fuel expenses and ice is appreciated. Bring some snacks and drinks for yourself and to share while on the boat.

Meals: We will gather for a lunch provided by Oak Wood Smoke House and Grill.
Rules:
1. Please be on time and plan to stay until around 2:00 pm.
2. No perfect people allowed. Come as you are, no pretending.
3. Alcohol will not be allowed on boats, but will be allowed in moderation after the boat is on the trailer.
4. Please be mindful of your language when youth participants are around.
5. Have a good time.
What to bring:
*Drinks and snacks for the boat.
*Parents – Please provide a life vest for all youth participants.Everyone should bring their own fishing tackle and gear for fresh water bass fishing. Please don’t expect volunteer boat owners to lend out their gear or tackle.
*If you want to keep fish, bring what is necessary to clean your own catch and take it home.
*Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses.
*Rain gear if necessary.
*A willing attitude that’s eager to help make it work and have a good time – remember, everyone there is a volunteer, so set your expectations as though you are going on a weekend trip with friends.

Donations: Donations are tax deductible! Our events do not operate at a profit, so we are dependent on donations to fund the organization and maintain the low-cost nature of our events. We are currently seeking individual, corporate, and church partnerships to assist in our effort to reach outdoorsmen. Financial and merchandise donations are accepted.
