1st ANNUAL 4th of JULY LIBERTY DAY FESTIVAL AT LEGACY RANCH
Please join us as Blast & Cast Men’s Ministries – New Mexico hosts a community-based outdoor event that celebrates our Freedom and Independence with the entire community!
Activities Include:
For the Competitors:
- Sporting clays competition: (8-11 AM) or (1-3 PM)
- 3D Archery competition: (8-11 AM) or (1-3 PM)
For the Families:
- Hot Air Balloon rides (tethered)
- Vendors
- Professional Firearms Instruction
- The Grey Beard’s Civil War re-enactors
- Family Photography stations
- Kids’ Corner (bounce houses, Archery, Nerf Guns)
- 4-H Exhibition
There will be prizes, giveaways, and a Silent Auction.
Buckles will be presented to the Top Sporting Clay Team and the Top Archer (Men, Women, Youth > 16, Traditional).
This event is held in partnership with the City of Edgewood. After the day’s activities conclude at Legacy Ranch, participants are encouraged to head to Venus Park for the City of Edgewood’s fireworks show. The Top Shot Belt Buckle Awards will be presented on the main stage at 8:00 PM, just before the fireworks begin.

Liability/Minors:
All ages are welcome to enjoy the family-friendly festival activities. However, for those competing in the Sporting Clays or 3D Archery tournament, participants must be at least eight years old and capable of safely handling a firearm or bow. All competition participants are required to sign a liability waiver at check-in, and any participant under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Rules:
- No perfect people allowed. Comes as you are, no pretending.
- No alcohol at Legacy Ranch.
- Please watch for profanity. We want to keep the environment kid-friendly.

What to bring?
For All Attendees:
- A folding chair or blanket for relaxing during downtime or at the fireworks
- Sunscreen and hat (shade tents are limited)
- Water bottle (hydration stations available)
- Weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)
- Bible or journal (optional, for devotional or quiet time)
- Cash or card for food vendors and raffles
- Personal ID and confirmation email (for check-in)
- Snacks (if you are not purchasing from food trucks or catered items)
For 3-D Archery Participants:
- Personal Bow
- Arrows (Min 3-6 No Broadheads)
- Arm guard and finger tab/release
- Closed-toe shoes
- Rangefinder
- Long pants
- Any specialty gear for the traditional division (if applicable)
For Sporting Clay Participants:
- Shotgun (12 or 20 gauge recommended)
- Ammunition (target loads only, ~4 boxes min. 100 shells)
- Eye and ear protection (required)
- Shell pouch or vest (optional but helpful)
- Closed-toe shoes
For Volunteers:
- Work gloves (if assisting with setup/breakdown)
- Walkie-talkie or phone with group chat access
- Notepad or shift assignment card
- Comfortable shoes for walking/standing
