There is no place like a campfire to tell hunting stories and Dean excels at storytelling. His experiences while hunting, fishing, and guiding all across North America have given him and endless supply of material for his writing and speaking engagements. From the Mountain tops of Alaska to the Rio Grande River Valley of Texas, the successes, the failures and near death experiences have added to the depth of his relationship with God.
Dean has written for several national magazines such as: Buckmasters, Rack, Safari, Safari Times, Whitetails, Christian Bowhunters of America and more. In addition, he has been writing a daily devotional for several years, many of them based on his hunting and outdoor experiences.
Along with his family, Dean has been fortunate to hunt many states and Canadian provinces for deer, bear, turkeys, bison, alligators and many other species.
Dean speaks on a regular basis at many outdoor events each year. He continues to write devotionals and is also producing Christian hunting videos. Living the Dream!
