Alaska Chatper
Dear Friends and Faithful Supporters,
With grateful hearts, we want to thank you for the part you have played in bringing The Rock to life.
As we look back over the work that has been accomplished, one truth stands above all others: the Lord has graciously provided. From the resources and materials to the skills, strength, time, and willing hearts needed to make this place a reality, we have seen God’s faithfulness every step of the way. What began as a vision has steadily become a place that will be used for His purposes.
We are especially thankful for the summer teams of volunteers who gave generously of their time and talents. Individuals and families came together, often traveling great distances and working long days, to help build, repair, paint, move, clean, and accomplish countless tasks—many of which may never be seen or recognized. Every contribution mattered.
The Rock is more than a building or a beautiful place in Southeast Alaska. It is being prepared as a place where the good news of Jesus Christ will be proclaimed. Amidst the mountains, forests, waters, and breathtaking beauty of Southeast Alaska, our prayer is that people will encounter something far more beautiful—the transforming grace and truth of Jesus.
Every board that was lifted, every wall that was built, every task that was completed, and every sacrifice that was made has helped prepare a place where lives can be touched by the Gospel. We pray that years from now, we will look back and see not simply what was built, but what God chose to do through it.
To everyone who gave, served, prayed, encouraged, donated, traveled, worked, and believed in this vision: thank you. Your generosity has been a tangible expression of the love of Christ, and we are deeply grateful.
Ultimately, the glory belongs to the Lord. He is the One who provided, opened doors, brought people together, and sustained the work. We are simply grateful to have been given the privilege of participating in what He is doing.
May The Rock stand as a testimony to His faithfulness and become a place where the Gospel is faithfully proclaimed, believers are strengthened, and many come to know the hope found in Jesus Christ.
With sincere gratitude,
Thank you for helping build The Rock!
