Lake Jackson, TX Men’s Clay Shoot with Cornerstone Church
“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17
Purpose:
To build relationships in the Lake Jackson community and point outdoorsmen to the cross. Participants will be invited to attend the church service the following morning to hear a special guest speaker, Brodie Cooper, the Executive Director of Blast & Cast Men’s Ministries.

Saturday, April 25th at 8:00am
Location: Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene, 3007 TX-332, Lake Jackson, TX 77566
Registration:
Free! This is a men’s event being conducted in partnership with the men’s ministry at Cornerstone Church. Minimum age to shoot is 14.
What to bring:
- Shotgun
- Two boxes of shotgun shells
- One box of sporting clays (pick up at any Academy of Walmart)
- Hearing and eye protection
- Fishing rod and tackle for bass fishing (optional)
- Lawn chair
Shooting:
We will have stations set up on the church grounds for a fun morning of shooting clays. Volunteers will be on site to ensure safety and assist new shooters as needed. Minimum age for participation is 14 years old.
Meals:
Lunch will be provided.
Rules:
- No perfect people allowed. Come as you are, no pretending.
- Because this is a shooting event, no alcohol will be permitted.
- Please be mindful of your language when youth participants are around.
- Have a good time.
