Our goal is to share the Gospel with outdoorsmen in a relevant, impactful way, and we would love to help you start a Blast & Cast chapter in your local community of outdoorsmen.

Each of our chapters is directed by a team of volunteer leaders. A sustained ministry effort is too much for any one person to lead, but a team of leaders with varying spiritual gifts, experience levels, skills, and abilities can lean on each other for support and help develop a sustainable chapter capable of reaching outdoorsmen with the Gospel for decades to come. We require that new chapters be launched with a team of three to five leaders who meet monthly via conference call. Leadership experience is not required, but strong character, a passion for reaching the lost, and a three-year commitment are required to ensure that the ministry effort is sustainable.

We strongly recommend attending a 3-day Blast & Cast event in person if you’re interested in starting a chapter. This may require out-of-state travel, but it’s the best way for you to determine whether or not Blast & Cast is a good fit for what you hope to accomplish. It will also help you form relationships with key volunteers and staff within our organization, which will greatly help you down the road as you lean on them for counsel and support.

After you’ve attended an event in person, the next step is to set up an interest meeting either in person or via conference call. You’ll need a team of three to five leaders to start, so pray over who might be interested in partnering with you in the effort. One of our staff members will help walk you through this process and be present for the interest meeting.

Once you have a group of leaders interested, we’ll send a team of staff and volunteers from one of our existing chapters to help you host a small inaugural Blast & Cast event. This event will be designed to help you recruit a leadership team and volunteer base to support a new chapter. The event will be small (usually 12-20 people), include lots of relationship-building time, and provide Q&A opportunities so that prospective leaders and volunteers can meet with our team face-to-face and get a feel for a Blast & Cast event prior to making a commitment.

When three to five men are willing to make a three-year commitment to lead a local chapter, we can officially launch. The team will be supported by our centralized administrative staff so that they can focus on ministry and pointing outdoorsmen to the cross. We want local leaders to spend time building relationships, sharing the Gospel, and planning local events, not doing administrative tasks. We will provide tax reporting, accounting, web registration, merchandise, branding, advertising, a regional budget, and much more.
